Loraine “Maxine” Ridlon

Loraine “Maxine” Ridlon, formerly of Ironton, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 in Park Hills.  She was 78.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1939 in Banner, the daughter of the late Harold and Essie (Gaston) Crocker.

On April 26, 1957, she was united in marriage to Richard Douglas Ridlon, Sr., who preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 2011.  To this union three children were born, Richard Ridlon Jr. and wife, Simplicia of Park Hills, Gary Ridlon and wife, Charma of Farmington, and Brenda Ridlon of Farmington.

In addition to her children, Maxine is survived by three brothers, Vic Crocker of Graniteville, Millard Crocker of Farmington, and William Crocker of Park Hills; three sisters, Wanda Horne of Fredericktown, Joyce Guffey of Florida and Virginia Spicer of Tennessee; four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Bryson Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Jones officiating.

Visitation was on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Interment was in the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
