Edward Allen Rothlisberger
Edward Allen Rothlisberger of Pilot Knob passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2016. He was 72.
He was born on April 14, 1944 in Banner, to the late Delmar and Nancy Bland Rothlisberger.
On July 16, 1976, Allen was united in marriage to Betty Joan Randolph, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, Bill Randolph of Lake Wales, FL, Thomas Colyott of Sullivan, and Robert Colyott of Pilot Knob; daughters, Sharon Black of Helen, GA, and Deborah Oliver of Farmington; brothers, Curtis Rothlisberger and John Rothlisberger, both of Pilot Knob; a sister, Sue Whitt of Pilot Knob; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other loving friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leroy, Alfred, Timon; and a sister, Linda.
Allen graduated from Ironton High School in 1962, entered the United States Army in 1966, served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, and worked for SMMHC-SORTS for many years.
He was a lover of hunting, fishing, and more than anything, his family.
Funeral services were held on Friday, December 23, at 11 a.m. at Cole Family Funeral Home. Visitation was on Thursday, December 22, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Interment followed the services at the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
Rev. Ronnie Rothlisberger officiated the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ironton Food Pantry.
