Beth Kromis

Marian “Beth” Elizabeth Kromis of Arcadia passed away on Oct. 30, 2016. She was 76.

She was born March 21, 1945 in Shreveport, LA to the late John and Betty Jane Ramsey. 

Beth, as she was known by her friends and family, is survived by her longtime companion or more than 20 years, Bill Heller; a daughter, Kathy Keller of Dallas, TX; two sons, Ferris Heller III of Hillsboro, and Timothy Heller of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Linda Gross of Lake Charles, LA; seven grandchildren, Quentin, Stuart, Elijah, Ryan, Derrick, Amber, and Tiffany; a great-grandchild, Wyatt; and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Jane Ramsey, and two brothers, John Ramsey and Robert Ramsey. 

Beth formerly owned the Iron County Auto Parts with her ex-husband, Wayne Moss. Prior to Iron County Auto Parts, she and Wayne owned what used to be the Sinclair station at the corner of East Russell and Hwy. 21. She also worked in the prosecuting attorney’s office, and was the manager, bookkeeper, and bartender for Grant’s Inn. Beth was a former member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and attended the First Baptist Church of Ironton. 

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Beth’s life on Saturday, November 19, at 1 p.m. at the Cole Family Funeral Home in Ironton. Visitation will be Saturday, November 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
