Frank Adams Hinch, III
Frank Hinch Adams, III, of Fredericktown passed away Friday, March 10, 2017. He was 65.
Frank was born in St. Louis on Oct. 23, 1951 to the late Jack Eugene Adams and Marie (Plumber) Umfleet, who survives.
In addition to his father, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Fadler and a half-sister, Lisa Robinson.
A 1970 graduate of Fox High School in South St. Louis County, Frank went on to pursue a career as an electrician. He was a 35-plus year member of IBEW where he began as an apprentice. In 1994, he formed Fox Electric in Fredericktown and owned and operated the company until his retirement in 2015.
Throughout the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and raising cattle. His family will cherish the memory of his strong, kind nature and generous devotion he showed for them.
In addition to his mother, Marie, Frank is survived by his loving wife, Liz (White) Adams; two sons, Frank (Kelly) Adams, IV and Ryan Adams; a step-son, Kurt Prather; his granddaughter, Caroline Adams - who was truly the light of his life; four half-sisters, Gidget Adams, Becky Adams, Kathi Elgin and Lorna Weddle; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made in Frank’s name to the charity of donor’s choice.
