Darla Kay Francis

Darla Kay Francis of Ironton passed away Feb. 18, 2017 in Pilot Knob.  She was 51.

She was born Feb. 28, 1965 in Fredericktown, the daughter of Edsel Odell Savage and the late Juetta (Jones) Savage.

On May 25, 1996, she was united in marriage to Daniel Eugene Francis, who survives.  

In addition to her husband, Darla is survived by her daughter, Deanna Orrick and fiancé, Matthew Coleman, and her son J.T. Orrick and fiancé, Mary Beth.  

She is also survived by her father and stepmother, Edsel and Reba Savage of Ironton; three sisters, Diane Vandergriff and husband, Rick of Ironton, Lisa Adams of Farmington,  Adrian Hope Stirts of Ironton; her brother, David Savage and wife Dorothy of Ironton; her step brother, Michael Lowe; three grandchildren, Kaden, Bryleigh, and Penelope; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Darla attended the House of Prayer Church in Belleview.  

Memorial services were held on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Derek Jones officiating.  Visitation began at 10 a.m. Friday morning.  Interment was in the Huff Cemetery.
