Woodrow William Boyer passed away in Arcadia, Missouri on Feb. 3, 2017. He was 94.
Woodrow was born on Dec. 13, 1922 in Richwoods, son to the late Sherman and Ellen (O’Harver) Boyer.
On Dec. 17, 1945, he was united in marriage to Hattie Gay who preceded him in death on Sept. 28, 1993.
To this union five children were born, Jimmy Boyer, Virginia Eudy, and Kathy Womble who all preceded him in death; Larry “Paul” Boyer of Ironton, and Judy Jones of Arcadia.
Woodrow is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Woodrow is also preceded in death by brothers, Joe Boyer, Tim Boyer, Walter Boyer and sisters, Mary DeClue and Renie Boyer.
Woodrow spent his life working on his farm and was a member of the Arcadia Valley Eagles. He also worked as a carpenter and as a gunsmith.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 from Bryson Funeral Home with Cody Harbison officiating. Interment was in the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
